Accessibility statement

Jim Mobile is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. As a provider of electronic communications services in the European Union, Jim Mobile recognizes its obligations under the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and is actively working to improve the accessibility of its mobile applications in line with this legislation.

We strive to meet internationally recognized accessibility standards such as EN 301 549, which includes the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Conformance Status

The Jim Mobile website is partially conformant with the European standard EN 301 549 v.3.2.1, which includes the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Non-Accessible content

Despite efforts to design inclusively, the following accessibility issues have been identified:

Images and Non-Text Content

  • Some informative images lack proper text alternatives

Visual Design

  • Some elements do not meet minimum contrast ratio thresholds

User Interface Components

  • Some links don’t have discernible text
  • Some select elements are missing an accessible name
  • Not all headings increase by one
  • Not all landmarks have a unique role or role/label/title (i.e. accessible name) combination
  • Not all page content is contained by landmarks

Planned Improvements

Jim Mobile acknowledges the issues listed above and is actively working to address them. Solutions will be prioritized based on their impact on users and implemented in future development cycles. Updates will be reflected in revised versions of this statement.
